That’s why I’ve been here for over 27 years. I started out as a Postman, then moved on to driving duties. Now I work in the Registered Letter Enclosure and am a Workplace Coach.

My role as a Coach is all about training new joiners and supporting current staff, helping them retrain where necessary. You need to be approachable and patient. Someone who can listen well, explain things clearly and empathise with others. But it’s not all one-way – I’ve got a lot out of coaching too. Seeing other people improve gives me a real sense of pride. I’m far more confident talking in front of groups of people. And I know that colleagues and managers really value what I do.
